6/4/2026 bank holiday Monday

Went for a walk down to the village this morning as there was a break in the rain , and it was heaving. The coffe shop was closed so i went to the other one at the bottom of the street and had a nice lemon tart. 

I walked back to the apartment and made myself some lunch and morg called by after he'd been shopping. He was reluctant to do it but he invested in waterproofs for work because there is nothing worse than getting soaked early in the day and staying that way. Also he bought long trousers, as he said the temperature is going to drop now easter is over. Hes clearly feeling the chill already for the first time he showed up in jeans and thick hoody!  I guess its because he's acclimated and I'm not, or maybe its because I'm refusing to bow down to tracksuit and hoodies yet. There is plenty of time for that when I'm home. 

We had dinner and watched the first series of laugh out loud. And did indeed laugh out loud. Again laughter is what i needed.
