19/4/2026 shopping and mosquitoes

There were some more puppy pics this morning and hiding in amongst them is a sneaky little sausage. Good disguise to be fair and it defo wins hide and seek!  

Morg came down and we went and did some grocery shopping for the week ahead for him.  I don’t need anything as there’s loads in the fridge to keep me going’s. But he needs lunch stuff. I did pick up a loaf of bread and some peanut butter for peanut butter and jam sandwiches. Definitely fed up of mince based dishes.  

We’d failed to find more Anzac cookies in the supermarket which was annoying so settled for the ones with chewy mango chunks and yoghurt in them sounds gross but there is hell of a taste on them!  

Another series of clarksons farm and he went home.  I couldn’t settle at all really in edge and took my self down the beach in the end. It seems to be the only place I can quiet my brain.  

When I returned a few hours later, wet and cold from a swim,  I Rudely I got bitten by a mosquito it was taunting me for a while doing fly bye past my ear, before settling in for a snack. After 6 courses the little fucker was a splattered mess on my arm.  But unfortunately my arm started to swell.  I’ve literally turned into Si. He’d have one bite and it would start tracking and now since the bee incident last summer it appears mosquitoes have similar effect.  I will need to visit the pharmacy tomorrow. 

Not even pretty sunset through the palm trees outside my window could boost me.

I was Most put out with th whole mosquito incident, so I had a shower and put myself to bed in a sulk and itching like a maniac. I can hear Si laughing at me.
