28/1/2026 it’s raining it’s raining

As the heading for the blog suggests we've had more rain, it hasn't relented at all and the wind gusts are still blowing at around 40mph which is a bit savage. I did contemplate a ride on the bus, but decided against it when I got drenched on the very short walk to the restaurant. A day curled up under a blanket with a book was by far the better option. 

I had to have a blanket because the aircon was on and I couldn't be bothered to turn it off and besides a cwtchy blankie rocks no matter what the temperature is outside!
