25/3/2026 an eeyore day… a bit grey and gloomy

A bad storm has been forecast coming in today and continuing until Friday morning, flash flooding and high winds. I didn't venture out the door , did a bit of cleaning and prepped the veg for our cooked dinner tonight. Potato and carrot mash, broccoli, chicken and gravy with the all important cranberry sauce. 

I did some bee and puppy learning and watched the birds as they all landed on the patio to shelter from the rain. Yep, that’s the sum of my day today!

By the time Morg arrived after work it was pretty horrid outside, the rain was coming down in sheets and he came in bundled up like an eskimo. Apparently it's autumn now, (and that's definitely NOT what I signed up for)  so it was actually the perfect evening for a cooked dinner! I briefly contemplated making him some biscuits but then realised I didn't have a weighing scales, and definitely no inclination to make them either when it came down to it, sorry Morg. I’ll buy you Tim Tams from the shop instead

We sat and inhaled the dinner, although I was a tad confused by the industrial airfryer and the confusion did delay the chicken cooking somewhat, but I got here eventually so no salmonella! 

Morg has signed me into his disney plus and we watched a load of marvel film as the wind blew a hooley outside.

Frank is doing well, and I’m enjoying the online training course, go me using my brain cells for bees and puppies! 

That's today done, I’ve been hearing Si in my ear all day really clearly, especially when I was doing the veg for dinner, “oi, what you doing, that's my job” etc etc. pft, hard day and it was too miserable to go out to escape it and that's not funny.  Miss you every second of every single day babe but I am another day closer to being with you again.
