Once again i was woken by Morg phoning late morning, he was once again outside, this is becoming a habit! He’d gone food shopping to Glen Innes this morning, and got us food for the week. Again I am so lucky to have such a kind and considerate boy.

He’d thought of everything and we've got food for the week, (and probably well into next week) for me to cook  and create meals for us. That's something of a novelty for me but something I'm half looking forward to, cooking for Si is one of the many many things I miss, he was such a foodie and loved (he said) my cooking.

In the shower room there is a large fridge freezer which I turned on to put all the goodies in while Morg kept carrying in more bags!

He made us some lunch and left early in the afternoon with orders to me to not move any further than the edge of the patio for the rest of the day. I may have foolishly mentioned to him that I felt I ought to have a stroll down to the beach as it was such a nice evening. (insert eyeroll)

To be perfectly honest, much as I felt I should get down the front of St Heliers for a walk, the body wasn't nearly as willing as the mind. The mind was only pretending really too!

So I sat on the patio again, read another book from the large selection available in the apartment until it got dark, the sky grew moody and I listened to the cicadas.

Not too shabby really in the grand scheme of things, but would be just so much better if Si were here to share it with.

Much Love

Mrs Leonard
